The Kumbhalgarh Fort is built in Rajsamand District on the top of beautiful and avenging hills of Aravali with a wall 36km that puts INDIA on the second greatest wall after China. The winter months are considered the best time to visit this beautiful place. You can choose your destination going from Udaipur-Ranakpur-Kumbhalgarh which is around 150km, where you can hold your stop in Ranakpur and get blessing and liberation in the famous Ranakpur Jain Temple or Chatumukha Dharanavihara Temple.
The most fascinating part of the journey is the drive between Udaipur to Kumbhalgarah where you can enjoy all the half moon road which are designed like a waver. You can enjoy the side view of beautiful Aravali Hills and passing villages with farmlands.
The fort opens every day from 9 AM to 6 PM (12Hours)/9 AM to 18 PM (24 Hours).
The attraction of Kumbhalgarh:
The Fort is a mansion of attraction with seven impossible majestic gates called Pols which guards all the entry to the Kumbhalgarh Fort. The fort gives you marvellous view from the top and various ancient sculpture art are situated in the huge compound of a fort. You should not miss these places if you are travelling Kumbhalgarh.
This fort envelops Vedi Temple, Mammadev Temple, Muchchal Mahavir Temple, Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, and Parshuram Temple.
Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary:
It covers an area of 586 sq km. It is considered to be the only sanctuary that quarters variety of wolves where movements of a rarely found wolf can be seen.
Badal Mahal also called Palace of Clouds is the most beautiful part of the fort. The two-storied structure is connected into two related portions giving an excellent view from the top.Light and Sound Show in Kumbhalgarh Fort:
The show starts around 6:45 P.M and the ticket cost you around 100 bucks. The lightening sparkle with music takes you to the flash of history for 45minutes showing the rich culture of the royal Rajputs.
